Ingredients:
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup plain (all-purpose) flour
- 110g desiccated coconut
- 80g dark chocolate chips
The steps:
- Preheat oven to 150 degree Celsius. Grease oven trays with baking paper.
- Beat egg whites in a mixing bowl with electric mixer until soft peak form. Gradually add sugar, beating until dissolved. Stir in extract, sifted flour, coconut and dark chocolate chips together.
- Tips: Using wet hands, roll rounded of mixture into small balls.
- Place it about 5cm apart onto trays.
- Bake macaroons about 25 mins; cool on trays.
