Indonesian Beef Rendang


Hello everyone,
I would  love to share one of my favorite meals, it's sooo yummy! 






Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kilo Beef rump, cut into cubes
  • 120g Beef Rendang Seasoning (Brand: Mother). It can be found in any Asian groceries.
  • 1.5 l water
  • 200 ml coconut milk
Cooking Instruction:
  1. Heat the oil in frying pan
  2. Put all the meat, the seasoning, water and the coconut milk all together
  3. Make it boil 'till the sauce is thick, approx. 1 hour
  4. Then reduce the heat
  5. Serve with jasmine rice while hot
Alternative:
  • You can change beef to chicken
  • Add vegetables that you like
  • Add more dry chilies, if you like it more spicy
